Dr. Akan Eka is a dedicated General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Leicester in 2013. He completed his foundation training and GP training in the East of England deanery, qualifying as a GP in 2018. Dr. Eka is skilled in minor surgery and joint injections, with a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Having served as a medical officer at various sporting events, he brings a unique understanding of sports-related health concerns. Dr. Eka's passion for sports extends from his personal experience as a former member of the EKF England karate team, where he competed in 2 WKF World Championships and 3 WKF European Championships from 2005 to 2009.
