Dr Ajeeth Baburajan is a Consultant in Pain Medicine based at One Ashford Hospital and has also been a Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2021, where he serves as the department’s Clinical Governance Lead. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex pain conditions, providing personalised, evidence-based care to patients across London and the South East of England.

Dr Baburajan has particular expertise in interventional spine pain, using minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. His clinical practice covers a wide range of pain syndromes, including sciatica and nerve root pain, neuropathic pain and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), joint and musculoskeletal pain, head, facial and pelvic pain, as well as post-surgical and post-traumatic pain conditions. He also has extensive experience in medication-based pain management strategies as part of a holistic treatment approach.

Actively involved in national and international pain medicine communities, Dr Baburajan is a member of the International Division of the Spine Intervention Society and serves on its International Board. He is also an editorial board member of the Interventional Spine Journal and contributes to the Interventional Pain Special Interest Group of the British Pain Society. In addition, he is a recognised instructor on international spinal intervention courses, demonstrating his commitment to education, governance and advancing best practice in interventional pain management.
