Dr. Ajay Dhunna is a dentist working in Wolverhampton and Telford in both private and mixed practice.
Dr. Dhunna has excelled since university when he was appointed the representative for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) to represent Cardiff University. This experience kickstarted my ambition for dental clinical excellence.
Since completing his dental training, he continued his work with BACD which has allowed him to get involved with the education of young dentists and helping to organise events. The BACD then appointed him to the Young Membership Committee as one of the youngest members of any BACD committee. His commitment to education is continually shown through my efforts to help the next generation of dentists.
Clinically, he has been working at the Smileworks practices, giving him valuable dental experience. From being mentored through orthodontic cases, to shadowing and taking part in oral surgery days every month on a team that dealt with an NHS tier 2 oral surgery contract, he has been able to develop his skills on a continuous basis to become a well rounded clinician.
He has also taken it upon himself to continue his further education on his journey towards dental excellence. Having completed a certificate in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, he is able to provide a great patient journey with amazing results. Following on from this, Dr Dhunna hopes to continue learning in the field of orthodontics, restorative dentistry and endodontics.
