She later completed advanced fellowship training in India, specialising in cataract surgery (phacoemulsification, SICS and intraocular lens implantation). She holds HAAD consultant licensing and has worked for seven years within SEHA as an ophthalmology specialist.

Her extensive experience spans general ophthalmology, cataract and refractive conditions, glaucoma, retinal disorders, laser procedures and emergency eye care. She manages a wide spectrum of eye diseases including infections, inflammation, allergies, squints, ocular trauma, eyelid conditions, pterygium, refractive errors, amblyopia, watery eye and lacrimal system disorders, glaucoma, and cataract-related visual decline. She is skilled in YAG and SLT laser for post cataract lens opacification and glaucoma, argon laser for retinal conditions, and intravitreal injections for retinal disease.

Dr Chehadeh has a particular focus on diabetic eye disease and performs comprehensive ocular assessments for patients with systemic conditions such as hypertension, thyroid disease, autoimmune disorders and neurological conditions. Her practice combines strong clinical expertise with a patient-centred, compassionate approach.
