About Dr Adnan Tariq
Dr Adnan Tariq is an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and Obesity Specialist, offering private consultations at Ross Hall Hospital. He completed his specialist training in Grampian and qualified as a consultant in 2003. Dr Tariq is also a Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and provides clinical support at the New Victoria Hospital and Gartnavel General Hospital. Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in medical education and serves as an Examiner for the MRCP PACES examination. He adopts a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to patient care, managing a broad range of endocrine conditions. His expertise includes thyroid disorders, testosterone deficiency and related sexual dysfunction, parathyroid disorders, pituitary disease and hypertension. He provides comprehensive management of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, including insulin pump therapy and guidance on type 2 diabetes remission. He also has a specialist interest in obesity and metabolic health. Dr Tariq is dedicated to delivering personalised, high-quality care. He works closely with his patients to develop individualised treatment plans based on the latest evidence, helping them achieve improved health outcomes and long-term wellbeing.
