Dr Hussein completed his foundational medical education at Cairo University, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. He subsequently pursued advanced training at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science in Critical Care in 1997, followed by a Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in Critical Care in 2002. Furthermore, he has shared his extensive knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals as a former Assistant Professor of Critical Care Medicine at Cairo University.
Throughout his career, Dr Hussein has developed a strong clinical focus on managing severe respiratory and renal conditions in the intensive care unit. His areas of expertise include the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and the management of Acute Kidney Injury. Additionally, he is highly skilled in mechanical ventilation, the application of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, and the precise administration of intravenous diuresis and muscle relaxants for critically ill patients.
