Dr Adel Alhazzani is a distinguished Consultant Neurologist with a focus on cerebrovascular diseases, stroke, and headache disorders. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, from movement and memory disorders to epilepsy. His approach combines advanced medical knowledge with a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based strategies.
Dr Alhazzani has an extensive international education and training background. He obtained a fellowship in vascular neurology and interventional neuroradiology from Harvard University in the United States. He also completed a neurology residency programme at McGill University in Canada and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Neurology, Canada (FRCPC). Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in Clinical Service Operation from Harvard Medical School.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Alhazzani is actively involved in academia and professional organisations. He has served as an Associate Professor at King Saud University's College of Medicine and holds leadership positions in several neurological societies, including being the President of the Saudi Stroke Association and Vice President of the Middle East and North Africa Stroke Organization. His contributions to the field are aimed at advancing neurological care and stroke prevention in the region.
