About Mr Adam Boyt
Mr. Adam Boyt is a proficient Bariatric & General Surgeon, specialising in minimally invasive/laparoscopic techniques. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Biochemistry and Neurophysiology. He also holds a PhD in Molecular Neurobiology, which he pursued concurrently with his medical training at the University of Melbourne. Following his medical education, Mr. Boyt completed a Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at St John of God, Mt Lawley, before practicing as a bariatric and general surgeon in Perth. He has gained extensive experience in rural and remote general and trauma surgery across multiple states, including locations such as Broome, Broken Hill, Echuca, Derby, Mt Isa, and Cairns. Mr. Boyt's professional focus centers on bariatric sleeve surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and complex hernia repairs. In addition to his clinical work, he maintains an active interest in research and teaching.
