He furthered his expertise by completing a subspecialty fellowship in hip and knee joint replacement surgery at Dalhousie University, followed by a fellowship in trauma surgery at the University of Ottawa. Dr Althubyani is a member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the Saudi Orthopaedic Association.
His clinical practice is centred on the treatment of both simple and complex fractures in adults. Dr Althubyani also specialises in performing joint replacement operations, including primary and revision surgeries for both the hip and knee.
