Das Franziskus Spital Wien besteht aus zwei der ältesten Spitäler Wiens, welche sich 2017 zum Franziskus Spital zusammengeschlossen haben. Das ehemalige Hartmannspital heißt jetzt Franziskus Spital Margareten und das ehemalige St. Elisabeth-Spital nennt sich nun Franziskus Spital Landstraße. Die neue Einheit behandelt Patienten/-innen aller Krankenkassen. Im Franziskus Spital Margareten finden Sie eine exzellente Abteilung für Chirurgie, welche sowohl Operationen von hauseigenen Chirurgen/-innen als auch Belegärzten/-innen anbietet. Außerdem bietet das Krankenhaus ein umfangreiches Angebot rund um das Fachgebiet der inneren Medizin. Ebenfalls Teil der inneren Medizin ist das Schlaflabor, welches sich hauptsächlich mit dem Schlaf verbundenen Atmungsstörungen beschäftigt.
Das Franziskus Spital Landstraße ist auf Akutgeriatrie, Innere Medizin, Palliativmedizin und physikalische Medizin spezialisiert. Um Patienten/-innen ab 65 Jahren dabei zu helfen, die Selbstständigkeit zurückzugewinnen, wird ein 3-wöchiger Klinikaufenthalt angeboten. Kerngebiete stellen Diabetologie, Schmerztherapie und allgemein internistische Versorgung dar. Das Franziskusspital ist ein Ordensspital und verfügt über mehrhundertjährige Erfahrung in der Medizin, welche mit modernesten Techniken und Infrastruktur kombiniert wird, um ein optimales Angebot für Patienten/-innen zu schaffen.
