Concept Hearing is an independent audiology clinic in Midleton, Cork, providing comprehensive hearing care services. The clinic offers diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, ear wax removal, custom hearing protection, and tinnitus support, delivered by qualified and experienced clinical audiologists.
The diagnostic hearing assessments include a full review of the patient’s medical and hearing history, examination of the ear canal and eardrum using video otoscopy, audiometry to measure hearing sensitivity across a range of frequencies, and speech testing to assess understanding in different listening environments. If necessary, ear wax removal is carried out as part of the assessment to ensure accurate results. Following the assessment, patients receive a detailed explanation of their results along with tailored recommendations.
Concept Hearing provides a wide range of hearing aids from leading manufacturers, selected to match the individual’s degree of hearing loss, lifestyle, comfort preferences, and budget. Free trials are available to allow patients to experience the benefit of their chosen hearing aids before making a final decision.
The clinic also offers an online hearing screening tool to give individuals an initial indication of their hearing health. Further support is available for tinnitus management, as well as advice on grant schemes and tax relief available for hearing aids.
